God of Pentecost,
you renew the Church in every age
by raising up men and women outstanding in holiness.

We pray for the men and women -
priests, deacons, religious, married, and single -
that you're calling to lead
the new evangelization and the new springtime.

We pray for their holiness,
their ability to hear your call,
and the freedom they need to say "yes" to you.
Grant them courage, vision, and passion
to serve your people.

May their lives inspire us
to respond to the presence of the Holy Spirit
as you inflame the Church throughout the world,
raising up a generation of saints on fire for you.
