St. Lucy Teachers Earn Certification

Sherell Butler, Courtney Virgin, Barbara Brown and Chrystal Keller, teachers at St. Lucy Child Development Center, have earned child development associate (CDA) credentials. The recognition is given by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington for outstanding work with children.

Four employees at the Center hold this qualification. Every candidate for the CDA credentials is observed working with young children by an early-childhood professional.

St. Lucy is a state-licensed, nonprofit center open to children 1-5.

St. Lucy is a 2 Star Center under the Voluntary Quality Rating System in Louisiana.
