| Brothers of America (Grades 5-8)
These stories, narrated by a U.S. priest working in Bolivia, tells of a U.S. boy named Mark and a South American boy named Marcos. Both children have goals and are willing to sacrifice in order to attain them. Marcos, who wants and education, must leave home to study in town, where he lives alone and cares for himself. Mark wants a bike and is willing to work odd jobs, even if this means rising early to work before school starts.
After becoming familiar with HCA and its work, Mark must decide whether he is willing to compromise. Can he settle for a cheaper bike and help Marcos too? (25 min)

Children of Light (1-8)
HCA’s newest video gives HCA members a chance to shine as true stewards.
This video narrates the early years of Jesus and incorporate classic painting of biblical stories, and children’s imaginative paintings of the same stories, with film footage of children being helped in developing countries and interviews with HCA’s young members, parents, teacher, and diocesan mission staff. (15 min.)

Domingo (3-8)
Domingo and his family live in the mountains of Guatemala. When his father must depart home to work in the markets, Domingo is left in charge of the family. An earthquake occurs, and their cottage is destroyed. Domingo's mother is killed, so he and his sister must leave home in search of their father. They endure many hardships, eventually becoming street children, too exhausted and hungry to help themselves. Fortunately, they are found and helped by a missionary receiving HCA funds. (25 min)

Flower of Hope (5-8)
Christina Young, a lay missionary on assignment in a Central American Town, assists at the local clinic an teaches in the village. She also wants to help villagers form a farming co-op, but the local government opposed her intentions. As a result of pressure she tries to exert on an official, she is murdered, but not before she has planted a seed of hope. (25 min.)

HCA: Young Catholics in Mission (K-8) Narrated by Father Wright, the previous HCA’s National Director, presents HCA as a way for U.S. kids to both give and receive. He explains that HCA is a global organization, with countries from all over the world helping kids in need. Also includes a section called “Mission Possible,” which tells how HCA money is used in parts of Africa and outlines the similarities and differences among children everywhere. (25 min.)
