Conceptual Drawings of Pastoral Center Addition

Depicted here are the architects’ conceptual drawings of the Pastoral Center expansion project. The top drawing is the front view of the addition. The bottom plan view shows the creation of a campus like theme where the two facilities are joined to become one through the use of promenades, walkways and landscaping. The projected completion date for construction is December 2009.

Contract Signing

The architectural contract signing for the Pastoral Center expansion project was held recently at the Pastoral Center in Schriever. Seated with Bishop Sam G. Jacobs are Kevin Gros of Fusion Architecture, A.P.C.; and Richard Weimer of Richard Weimer Architect, A.I.A., L.C.C., a joint venture for architectural design services. Standing are William J. Barbera, diocesan business manager; Louis Aguirre, coordinator of Formation Ministries; Craig Stanga, diocesan Building Commission member; Jimmie Danos, diocesan director of the Office of Building and Construction; and Father Shenan Boquet, diocesan Building Commission member.
