Each Spring, on the Saturday of Palm Sunday weekend, hundreds of youth in grades 8th-12th along with their Youth Ministers, confirmation and CCD teachers come together to attend the Annual Diocesan Youth Rally held at Nicholls State University.  This event is an awesome opportunity for youth to come and celebrate a day of community building with others who are fired up about God, experience and understand that faith can be exciting and fun, be informed by powerful skits and witness talks about our faith journey, praise and worship our God through powerful prayer experiences and music and most importantly, participate in the celebration of the Passion of Our Lord liturgy.  A spirited opening ceremony sets the stage for this day of celebration followed by an inspirational keynote speaker, workshops on current youth and faith issues and a Youth Village filled with interactive activies for all to enjoy.
