Due to the devistation faced by the people of our diocese following Hurricane Gustave the Family of God Conference scheduled for October 18 is canceled.

Day for the Engaged
This day offers couples the experience to dialogue honestly and intensely about their prospective life together. Couples must be pre-registered to attend this event. Couples needing more information about registering should contact their Church parish.

National Life Chain Sunday: The annual Houma Life Chain will be held on Respect Life Sunday, October5, 2008 from 2:00p.m.-3:00p.m. (rain or shine). Those participating will line the median of Tunnel Boulevard in Houma and Canal Boulevard in Thibodaux prayerfully, silently holding Life Chain signs. Join with other pro-life Christians to make a statement to our community that "ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN." Read more by visiting our Life Issues link.

Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration: This celebration honors all married couples celebrating 25, 40, 50, 60 and more years of marriage.
