My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

A strong Church Parish, a strong community, a strong sense of self commitment all come together to form a strong diocese and your support of the 2012 Annual Bishop’s Appeal can only make it stronger.

When you make a financial commitment to the Annual Bishop’s Appeal, Your Gift Strengthens your church by assisting with Seminarian Education, Your Gift Strengthens your community by assisting with opportunities for Youth Ministry and Your Gift Strengthens yourself by knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of many.  Please review the enclosed brochure to get a better understanding of how Your Gift Strengthens.  I feel that the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is strong and vibrant and I ask for you to review the enclosed brochure to learn more about how funds from the Annual Bishop’s Appeal are distributed to areas across the diocese such as Religious Education, Priest Retirement, Family Ministries, Adult Faith Formation, Vocations, Hospital Chaplain, and Safe Environment, to name a few.
