A detailed record of all donations/contributions should be maintained in ParishSOFT through “Offering”. Any one donation of $250 or more must be acknowledged in writing. The acknowledgment must include the name of the church, the date and amount of each contribution, statement that no goods or services were provided by the church in return for the contribution. Annual statements can be modified to accommodate the detail required for donations over $250. (Finance, Best Practices - Parishes)
