Each year, the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux Office of Vocations leads youth from throughout our diocese on a pro-life pilgrimage which includes the annual March for Life in Washington, DC. This life-changing educational pilgrimage includes - among other things - visits to historical monuments, the Holocaust Museum, and Mass at the National Basilica. The youth participating in the pilgrimage will join hundreds of thousands of others from across America who wants to take a stand for life at the annual National March for Life. The pilgrimage is designed to be a seminarian-lead retreat that focuses on respecting the life of our unborn neighbor in the womb while considering the dignity, value, and calling of one’s own life.
This year, 100 youth from our diocese, along with Bishop Fabre, 8 priests, 7 seminarians, 3 religous sisters, and 17 chaperones, and 14 other adult leaders are journeying to Washington on this retreat pilgrimage. Please keep them in your prayer.
The Office of Vocations will be posting updates on their trip, including photos of the group, on their Facebook Page.
